Man charged in child abuse

LEESBURG -- A man was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse in the beating of two young children he was baby-sitting, according to police. Sidney R. Benton, 19, was booked Monday into the Lake County Jail, where he remained Tuesday, with bail set at $100,000. .
