Deputy Duchesne County Attorney Roland Uresk says he didn't have enough information to tell authorities about a possible case of child abuse. That possible case has since led to nearly three-dozen criminal charges against a Uinta Basin businessman. Now, Uresk may be charged too - for not reporting the alleged crime. Uresk said prosecutors at the Utah attorney general's office have recommended that two misdemeanor counts be filed against him for failing to report child abuse. By day's end Friday, no charges had been filed. Uresk's problems stem from a criminal case against Brad R. Gale, who was charged last month in 8th District Court with 33 felony counts, including including rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, sodomy on a child, unlawful sexual activity with a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor.
